McParland Finn Ltd or MFL as we are now more commonly known, was established in 1993. We specialise in the analysis, management and insurance of risk for professional practices, science and technology businesses and major corporates, and for the individual directors, officers and trustees who manage them.
Our independence and the personal involvement of the shareholding directors in the management and servicing of our business guarantees to our clients consistency and integrity of service, supported by a highly focused and committed workforce.

[edit] MFL Affinity division arranges a number of exclusive Professional Indemnity Insurance schemes for the members of professional institutes and associations.
Our involvement with the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists began in 1994. CIAT Insurance Services offers a competitively priced Professional Indemnity scheme and with broad policy cover specifically designed to protect CIAT members against a wide range of professional liabilities which they may incur in the course of their business, our scheme products are essential protection to the professional practices concerned. In addition the scheme is fully endorsed by CIAT.
The administration of the schemes is undertaken by MFL Affinity, whose administrative systems and technological know-how enable us to offer a swift and efficient quotation and documentation service.
Finally, the scheme provide a free Legal Helpline service, including the vetting of contractual documentation by experienced and qualified solicitors.
